ICCM Medal of Mathematics

Established in 1998

Early entitled "Morningside Medal of Mathematics", this medal is the top award for world-wide Chinese mathematics, named as "Chinese Fields Medal". It recognizes the outstanding mathematicians of Chinese descendent under the age of 45 for their achievements in the research of pure and applied mathematics, and for their great contributions to the development of mathematics.

ICCM Best Paper Award (BPA)

Established in 2022

The ICCM Best Paper Award is an annual award, under the auspices of the International Congress of Chinese Mathematicians (ICCM). Each year, recent papers in pure and applied mathematics with at least one author of Chinese descent are nominated by mathematicians worldwide. The nominated papers are then evaluated by a Selection Committee consisting of world-renowned experts from various areas in mathematics. Awards are given to papers based on their originality and their impact on their area of research.

ICCM Undergraduate Paper Award (UPA)

The Undergraduate Paper Award (UPA) was established in 2022 as an annual award, under the auspices of the International Congress of Chinese Mathematicians (ICCM). The goal of this award is to promote mathematical research at an undergraduate level, and to recognize significant mathematical achievements among undergraduates, regardless of nationality. Entrant papers are evaluated on their mathematical creativity and originality.

ICCM Graduate Thesis Award (GTA)

The Graduate Thesis Award (GTA) was established in 2022 as an annual award, under the auspices of the International Congress of Chinese Mathematicians (ICCM). The goal of this award is to promote advanced mathematical research by PhD students, and to recognize their significant mathematical achievements, regardless of nationality. Entrant papers are evaluated on their mathematical creativity, originality and depth.
